STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE
The course will foresee 8 meetings (2 days each meeting on Saturdays and Sundays) from October 2018 to May 2019.
When applying, students can also show a repertoire of the XXth Century different from the one suggested by the announcement, which will have to be approved by the teacher.
Each participant will be entitled to 8 individual lessons (one hour each) on the pieces chosen by the student among those suggested by the Course or proposed by the student.
Composers and renowned artists will participate in three common lessons to deepen scores, theories and practice of contemporary and modern voice.
A tight connection with the Composition Course 2018-2019 will allow the students to work together with young composers in the premiere of pieces written specifically for their voices.
The vocal technique will be stimolated by the requests of the composers and it will be of inspiration for the creativity of the composers. Composer and singer, under the guidance of Alda Caiello, will develop a relationship that has been very fruitful in the history of western music.
A pianist will attend the lessons, for the whole studied repertoire.
