The International Workshop for Young Composers, organized by IDEA International Divertimento Ensemble Academy, returns in 2026. The 13th edition of the workshop will be held at the Tbilisi State Conservatory, as part of a three-year project (2025-2027) that brings advanced musical education to the borders of Europe. 14 ensemble composers and 7 solo instrument composers will have the opportunity to write a new piece that will be performed by the Divertimento Ensemble in concert. They will also receive private lessons with three tutors (Maka Virsaladze, Gabriele Manca, and Javier Torres Maldonado) and interact with the musicians during rehearsals and meetings. The best scores, selected during the workshop, will be performed by the Divertimento Ensemble during the Rondò 2027 season in Milan.

33% of the available spots (7/21) will be reserved for applications from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Türkiye.
